Tnuva CEO Arik Schor announced today the appointment of Yaakov Chen as CFO of the Tnuva Group. Chen replaces Lauri Hanover who was recently appointed CFO of Netafim.

Yaakov Chen served as CFO of Cellcom for the past four years. As part of his duties, he managed the Finance Department and was responsible for all the financial operations of the Group, including financial strategy, business development and managing investor relations in Israel and abroad.

Chen was responsible for the management of Cellcom’s financial statements in accordance with the reporting requirements of a dual-listing company (Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange, NYSE under the rules of the SEC). In addition, he served as Director of the subsidiaries. As part of his job, he dealt with the process of acquisition of Netvision and its merger with Cellcom.

Prior to that, for 12 years, Yaakov served in various positions in the finance area in Cellcom, including Manager of the Economic Department, Manager of the Research and Business Information Department, Manager of the Pricing Department and others

Yaakov has an MBA with honors in Business Administration, specializing in financing and information systems from Bar-Ilan University, and a BA in Economics and Business Administration, also with honors from Bar-Ilan University. Yaakov is married with three children, and will commence his duties in the next few weeks.
